Wodapalooza (WZA) began as a grassroots 1-day fitness competition with 145 athletes and 500 spectators in 2012. Today, Wodapalooza is a 4 day sanctioned competition, welcoming 1,950 athletes and over 35k spectators. To compete at WZA athletes take on the WZA qualifier, their rank determines whether or not they will advance and compete under the Miami lights.
This year you will see the double c’s represented on the competition floor! These two teams, including six CrossFit Central athletes, are Miami bound! We are so excited to cheer them on! But first, a little more info on these awesome athletes.

How did your Team Come Together?
Three of us are from the same gym, and one of us is from Boston. We had 3 teammates and reached out for a fourth!
What is your team looking forward to most a WZA?
We’re most looking forward to gaining competitive experience and enjoying the sport together!
What do you love about competing?
Competing gives us an opportunity to show how hard we work in training!
